Silenus

Silenus (Sile´nus). A Bacchanalian demi-god, the chief of the Satyrs. He is generally represented as a fat, drunken old man, riding on an ass, and crowned with flowers.

“And there two Satyrs on the ground,
Stretched at his ease, their sire Silenus found.”
